Salmanazar bottle

A Salmanazar is a large bottle with a volume of 9 liters. The bottle content is equivalent to 12 standard bottles. The size of a Salmanazar is ideal for various larger celebrations. Salmanazar was an Assyrian king.

This is a prestigious type of bottle designed for wines with a longer aging potential. The glass is thicker, and a longer cork is used, specifically for wines meant for extended aging. In some cases, the closures are also sealed with wax.
