Nebuchadnezzar bottle
These wines are in a 15-liter bottle, known as Nebuchadnezzar. It is equivalent to 20 standard bottles. Nebuchadnezzar is ideal for various larger celebrations. Nebuchadnezzar II was the most significant Neo-Babylonian king and built high walls around Babylon as well as the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
This is a prestigious type of bottle designed for wines with a longer aging potential. The glass is thicker, and a longer cork is used, specifically for wines meant for extended aging. In some cases, the closures are also sealed with wax.
