Discover the Margaux appellation, one of the most prestigious wine regions in Bordeaux. Margaux is known for its elegant and complex wines, which are characterised by their fine tannins and rich aromatic profile.
This region has ideal growing conditions for grapes thanks to its gravelly subsoil and mild climate.
The tasting package includes three exceptional wineries: Château Dauzac, known for its structured and harmonious wines; Château D'Issan, which offers refined and deep wines; and Chateau Paveil de Luze, renowned for its elegant and balanced wines.
Blason d'Issan 2010, the second wine from Château d'Issan, was first created in 1995 using mostly younger varieties, most of them from Clos d'Issan. It always respects the identity of its terroir from Margaux. The wine offers fleshy, expressive and round fruit. Blason d'Issan is aged in French oak barrels for 14 to 16 months, including 35% brand new oak.
The 2005 Château Paveil de Luze shows an attractive bouquet. Beautiful aromas of dark fruit, oak and liquorice. Smooth, with firm tannins and good acidity on the palate, offering a wide range of dark fruits such as blackcurrant, black cherry, black plum and black raspberry; hints of oak spice and liquorice.
Château Dauzac 2008 is an elegant and delicate wine with medium body and aftertaste. Medium-dark ruby-red colour with garnet notes. Ripe red fruit aromas are perhaps a little volatile and there are also hints of cocoa butter. The red fruit on the palate has an uplifting, open and perfumed character. The fruit is supported by clean new oak and vanilla. The wine has medium weight with balanced to high acidity and balanced alcohol. A pleasantly elegant, medium weight wine with good balance.
This tasting set consists of three 0.75L bottles.
