The aroma is dominated by oak, leather, tobacco and black fruits. The wine has ripe tannins and a touch of acidity that keeps everything fresh. The wine still contains tannins, although they have now softened. The wine is full-bodied and has good length. Suitable for drinking from 2023 onwards.

Château Clos Manou
Françoise and Stéphane Dief produced their first vintage of Clos Manou in Médoc in 1998. They sought suitable soil with a high vine density of around 10,000 vines per hectare. After purchasing 4 hectares of cru artisan classified land and 7 hectares of cru bourgeois, their vineyard area gradually expanded from 0.12 hectares to 18 hectares. The entire harvest is handpicked.
The wine matures for 17 months, 70% in new French oak barrels and 30% in 700-liter concrete eggs for 12 months.
