Melchior bottle

These wines are in an 18-liter bottle, known as Melchior. It is equivalent to 24 standard bottles. The size of Melchior is ideal for various larger celebrations, such as anniversaries. Melchior was one of the three kings who came to visit Jesus in Bethlehem.

This is a prestigious type of bottle designed for wines with a longer aging potential. The glass is thicker, and a longer cork is used, specifically for wines meant for extended aging. In some cases, the closures are also sealed with wax.
