The dry white wine G de Guiraud 2020, made from Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon varieties, is characterised by its light golden colour and aromas dominated by citrus fruits, green apple and delicate herbs. Château Guiraud
Château Guiraud is located in the Sauternes appellation. The wine from Château was classified as Premier Cru in the Bordeaux classification of 1855. Today, this winery is the only Premier Cru Classé certified as an organic winery.
The vineyard covers approximately 85 hectares and is planted with the Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. The soil is sandy-gravelly and clayey, which, due to its moisture-retaining properties, contributes to the spread of Botrytis cinerea (noble rot).
