A very unusual dry white wine from Sauternes, an area renowned for its sweet, botrytised wines. It comes from the famous and retains the unique aromatic characteristics of the local wines, dominated by peaches, apricots, spices and exotic fruits. The palate is extremely rich, yet fresh and lively. G de Guiraud is an ideal wine not only for gastronomy, and is particularly excellent with seafood, but also for drinking on its own.

Château Guiraud
Château Guiraud is located in the Sauternes appellation. The wine from Château was classified as Premier Cru in the Bordeaux classification of 1855. Today, this winery is the only Premier Cru Classé certified as an organic winery.
The vineyard covers approximately 85 hectares and is planted with the Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. The soil is sandy-gravelly and clayey, which, due to its moisture-retaining properties, contributes to the spread of Botrytis cinerea (noble rot).
