Chateau Villars
The origins of Château Villars date back nearly 200 years. Château Villars has remained in the same family for over seven generations. Currently, the vineyard spans nearly 30 hectares, double its original size. Over the last 20 years, the quality of the wine has improved significantly through the application of modern oenological principles, making it one of the most renowned wines of the appellation.
The vineyard's soil is clay-limestone, known for its ability to produce wines with great aromatic diversity and remarkable elegance on the palate. Since 1978, the wines have been aged in oak barrels, one-third of which are replaced with new ones each year.
