This winery is located on the left bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, north of Saint-Estèphe. The wines produced here are of exceptional quality, even though they are labelled 'only' Cru Bourgeois (in recent vintages they have not been classified). In fact, the former owners opposed the classification of the château in 1855. Today, tasters often rank it at the 2ème Grand Cru Classé level .

Château Sociando Mallet
This winery is located on the left bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne, north of Saint-Estèphe. Despite its classification as only 'Cru Bourgeois' (in recent years, it hasn't carried any classification), the wines produced here are of exceptional quality. The former owners were against the château being included in the 1855 classification, but today, tasters often rank it on the level of a 2ème Grand Cru Classé.
The average age of the vines is 35 years, composed of 42% Cabernet Sauvignon, 54% Merlot, and 4% Cabernet Franc.
