Chateau Paveil de Luze
Château Paveil de Luze is a historic wine producer located in Margaux, near the village of Soussans. The origins of the château date back to 1862, and the property has been owned by the Luze family for seven generations. The vineyard is planted with 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
The cellars and winemaking facilities were completely renovated in 2005. The wine matures for an average of 12 months in French oak barrels, with about 30% of them being new. The château produces approximately 12,500 cases annually of its grand vin, Château Paveil de Luze, as well as its second wines, Château de la Coste and Petit Paveil.
