With a deep colour, the wine immediately shows off its aromas of black cherry, dark cocoa, espresso and black plum. On the palate, the wine is soft, round, accommodating, smooth and fruity with layers of ripe, dark, chewy red berries on the finish. Ideal to drink in 2022-2034.

Château La Tour de By
Founded in 1599, Château La Tour de By is one of the oldest wineries in Médoc. The name 'By' is derived from the location of the vineyards, and 'La Tour' from the tower that dominates the estate. The château itself was built in 1876.
The vineyard spans 74 hectares, with the grape variety distribution as follows: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. The vines are at least 40 years old, with some even reaching up to 100 years. The soil is gravelly, typical of the Médoc region.
