"The Pagès family, which owns a group of estates in the Médoc, has produced a rich, concentrated wine in this chateau. While it is full of blackcurrant from the 60% Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend, it also has a firm layer of tannins that allow it to age. Drink from 2021." 92 points out of 100, Wine Enthusiast

Château La Tour de By
Founded in 1599, Château La Tour de By is one of the oldest wineries in Médoc. The name 'By' is derived from the location of the vineyards, and 'La Tour' from the tower that dominates the estate. The château itself was built in 1876.
The vineyard spans 74 hectares, with the grape variety distribution as follows: 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. The vines are at least 40 years old, with some even reaching up to 100 years. The soil is gravelly, typical of the Médoc region.
