This is a beautifully structured wine of dark garnet colour. Rich tannins and black fruit combine with generous ripeness and austere texture. The wine is full-bodied, full of animal notes with sweet fruit accents. The wine has a long finish and ages well. Ideal for drinking from 2026 onwards.

Château La Tonnelle is part of the Domaines Fabre portfolio, which owns a collection of 7 different wineries in Haut Médoc. These include Château Bellevue de Tayac, Château Lamothe-Cissac, Château La Tonnelle, Château Landat, Château Fonsèche, Château Laride, and Château Le Chêne.
Château La Tonnelle was planted in 1982 over an area of 29 hectares with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot
