Chateau La Pointe
Château La Pointe is one of the largest wine estates in Pomerol, where predominantly Merlot-based wine is produced. Its origins date back to 1845, and since 1941 it has been controlled by the d'Arfeuille family.
Château La Pointe covers 23 hectares, and the vineyard is planted mainly with Merlot with a small amount of Cabernet Franc on soil composed of gravel, clay, and sandy soils. These are located on the terrace below the main plateau of Pomerol, near Château Nenin and Trotanoy.
