The beautiful amphitheatre of the Ch. Gaby is located right in the heart of the Canon-Fronsac appellation on the southern slopes that undulate down to the nearby Dordogne River. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc are grown on 16 hectares. The wine here is characterised by a velvety, full-bodied flavour.

Château du Gaby

Château Gaby, a beautiful historic estate perched atop limestone hills overlooking the southern bank of the Dordogne River, is set within its own park with 16 hectares of winding vineyards. These vineyards are interspersed with low green hills and the meandering Dordogne River. The restored interior of the château reveals the beauty of this enchanting area of Bordeaux.

Wines from this excellent terroir are renowned for their finesse, concentration, and balance between acidity and tannins. These wines have aging potential of 5 to 20 years, and for those impatient, they reveal their delightful nuances after just 3 to 4 years.

The average age of the vines is 35 years. The vineyard is planted with 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc.

The diverse climatic conditions of each vintage influence the character of the wine, but the unique style of Château Gaby—elegant and refined—remains constant
