A rich and complex wine from an excellent vintage. It has a deep ruby color and an intense aroma of ripe black fruits, vanilla, cedar and spices. On the palate it is full, with well-structured tannins, harmonious acidity and a long, layered finish. Perfect with red meats, game or strong cheeses, and also offers excellent potential for further aging.
Château Belle-Vue
Château Belle-Vue, a prestigious winery in the Haut-Médoc appellation, boasts a rich history dating back to the 17th century when it was known as Fief de Bellevue and belonged to the Lacaze family. Its location near Margaux benefits from ideal conditions for vine cultivation—gravelly soils that ensure elegance, structure, and longevity in its wines.
The estate specializes in red wines based on traditional Médoc grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The high proportion of Petit Verdot sets Château Belle-Vue apart from other wineries in the region, adding intense aromatics, deep color, and remarkable complexity to the wines.
After fermentation, the wine matures for approximately 14 months in French oak barrels, 40% of which are new. During the first three months of aging, it is regularly stirred on fine lees after malolactic fermentation, enhancing its richness and depth. This meticulous winemaking and aging process ensures that Château Belle-Vue wines are elegant, well-structured, and have exceptional aging potential.
