Château Beaumont is generally one of the most popular wines of the cru bourgeois category. One of the emblematic Bordeaux wines, it is a classic representative of the style characteristic of Haut Médoc wines. A harder masculine wine with a predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon, it will delight fans of Bordeaux classics.
The nose is aromatic and fruity and offers little power, depth and fine structure. It reveals notes of ripe strawberry, wild blackberry and subtle hints of ripe raspberry coupled with a light touch of wild blackcurrant, violet and a very subtle hint of grey pepper, nutmeg and subtle hints of cardamom/spice. On the palate the wine is fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers good body. In the mouth there are notes of crunchy blackcurrant, juicy raspberry and small crunchy berries along with subtle hints of fresh violet, a touch of fresh iris and subtle hints of cocoa. Good length.
This wine comes in a 1.5 litre bottle called Magnum. The Magnum size is perfect for a gentleman for an evening out, for example.

Château Beaumont
Château Beaumont is generally one of the most popular wines in the Cru Bourgeois category. Located near the Gironde between Margaux and Saint-Julien, it bears the name of Count Beaumont, a former owner of Château Latour. It has 114 hectares of vineyards that surround the château, which was built in an elegant mansard style in 1854.
In 2004, Château Beaumont received both the Agriculture Raisonnée certification (sustainable agriculture) and the 'Terra Vitis' symbolizing its emphasis on environmental and health protection. One of the emblematic Bordeaux wines, it is a classic representative of the style characteristic of Haut Médoc wines. It is a firmer, more masculine wine with a predominance of Cabernet Sauvignon, which will delight fans of Bordeaux classics.
