Beaumont is a very well made wine with subtle notes of currant, blackberry and raspberry. The nose is concentrated and offers a very fine richness. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, fresh strawberry and light hints of raspberry combined with subtle hints of spice/pepper and subtle notes of liquorice and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). On the palate the wine is fruity, well balanced, fresh, mineral, straightforward and offers good juiciness, little fat and a fresh frame (good freshness). On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe raspberries and cherries combined with small hints of strawberries, blackberries and light touches of liquorice, roasted notes and an imperceptible hint of mocha.
