Balthazar is the name of one of the Three Wise Men who, according to the Bible, visited Jesus after his birth. He is the patron saint of travelers.

It is a prestigious type of bottle designed for wines with a longer aging potential. The bottle's glass is thicker, and a longer cork is used, which is specifically intended for wines for longer aging. In some cases, the closures are also sealed with wax.
