4.5 L Jeroboam
These wines come in bottles of 4.5 liters, known as Jeroboam. This is equivalent to 6 standard bottles of wine – or a whole case. In some cases, you may also encounter versions with a volume of 5 liters, which corresponds to just under 7 standard bottles. The Jeroboam size is ideal for various celebrations and special occasions.
This is a prestigious type of bottle intended for wines with a longer aging potential. The glass of the bottle is thicker, providing better protection for the wine during long-term storage. A longer cork is also used, specifically designed for wines meant for aging. In some cases, the closure is sealed with wax, which enhances its exclusivity and helps protect the wine from external influences.
