Product detailed description
The gravelly soil gave rise to a wine of dark ruby colour with an attractive and medium-intense bouquet of sweet cherries, flowers, plums, together with a subtle earthiness and new oak. Medium-bodied, soft, nicely balanced with ripe tannins and an attractive finish, this wine has all the makings of a long-aged wine.Additional parameters

Château La Fleur Petrus
Château La Fleur-Pétrus, one of the finest crus in Pomerol, is located on the plain that covers the best vineyards in the area. It is adjacent to the vineyards of Château Lafleur and Château Pétrus. This château has existed for centuries—references to it appear in books about Bordeaux from the first half of the 19th century. It belonged to the Pineau family for a long time, then to the Moutonroy and Garet families, and finally, in 1953, it became the property of the Jean-Pierre Moueix company. In 1994, part of Château Le Gay's vineyards was added to its vineyards. The wine is dominated by Merlot, and wines from this château are known for their delicacy, elegance, and longevity.
The vineyard covers just under 19 hectares and is planted with 91% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. This site has more gravel than its neighbors, which likely contributes to the wine's more refined style. Château La Fleur-Pétrus wine matures in oak barrels for 18 months. Annual production is around 45,000 bottles.
