2014 vintage:
This vintage offers rich fruit flavours with notes of currant, cherry and plum, enriched with a subtle hint of liquorice. The tannins are subtle but sufficiently pronounced, allowing the wine to stand out after several years of ageing.
Vintage 2015:
The 2015 Croix Mouton is a fantastic wine with a deep and perfectly balanced palate. Thanks to the older vines, this vintage offers delicate fruitiness with notes of blackcurrant, cherry and plum. The perfect tannins and natural strength of alcohol make this wine a definite hit of the vintage that will delight any connoisseur.
Vintage 2016:
The 2016 vintage is characterised by aromas full of forest fruits, chocolate, vanilla and tobacco. The palate is dominated by wild berries, blackcurrants, savoury spices and young oak. The wine is balanced and forms a delicious whole that is easy to drink and brings pleasure with every sip.

Château Croix Mouton
Château Croix Mouton is part of the portfolio of the renowned winemaker Jean-Philippe Janoueix, who also owns other wineries in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Pomerol, Saint-Georges, and Saint-Émilion areas. The vineyard covers 70 hectares and is planted with Merlot (97%), Cabernet Franc (2.5%), and Petit Verdot (2.5%). The average age of the vines is forty years. The vineyard promotes biodiversity by allowing grass to grow between the rows of vines, which supports insect life and improves water absorption into the soil. Harvesting is done by hand, with a strong emphasis on quality.
Experts consider Château Croix Mouton wine to be one of the best buys in Bordeaux, given its price.
